Villa Italia Bakery started with our father, Joseph Mallozzi, where he learned the skills needed to build a legacy of tradition and success. Upon immigrating to the United States, he purchased a small pizzeria/deli in Rotterdam, New York. Over the years, as our father desired to bring a little more of his culture to the capital region, he introduced pastries that were the staple at his parents pasticceria, a small, but cherished business in the center of his hometown, Minturno, Italy.
It was this decision to keep the pastry and cookie business growing that soon put Villa Italia on the map as an award winning bakery. Now in our third generation, we are blessed and grateful to be sharing our traditions with so many friends, family, and valued customers throughout the country.
