We are experiencing extended shipping delays as FedEx and USPS have suspended all delivery date guarantees. Unfortunately, we cannot track or offer refunds for any delayed shipments.

How We Ship

We use both UPS and the U.S. Postal Service for standard and expedited ground delivery service with time in transit dependent on destination. Standard delivery is not guaranteed and can range from 3 to 6 business days for shipments within the Continental United States. Please select 2-Day Air or Next Day Air for expedited shipping or when specific arrival dates are required.

Next Day Air must be selected when shipping bake at home products to destinations.

Next Day Air must be selected when shipping chocolate products to destinations where daytime high temperatures are expected to be above 70 degrees.

In all instances we require complete and accurate mailing addresses including PO Boxes or apartment/condo/suite numbers. Please include ZIP-4 and recipient phone numbers when available.

Accuracy is Important!
A $15.00 surcharge will be imposed for each incorrect address or if a package needs to be re-directed to a new location. Reshipping costs or surcharges will be applied to your credit card. Please double check all orders and delivery addresses before checking out!

Selecting When You Would Like Your Order to Arrive

Unless specified, all orders received during weekdays by noon will ship the next business day. To specify a hold on specific orders please comment in the notes section to specifically delay shipment until a designated weekday. Orders received over a weekend or on a legal holiday will ship on the next available business day.

If you have a desired arrival date please let us know in the Comments box located just below your email address. Please allow up to six business days' notice for these orders when selecting Priority Mail or UPS Ground service. See chart below for all shipping options and costs.

*Refer to UPS or USPS shipping map for time in transit from Schenectady NY to you destination. Estimated delivery charges will be shown and check out but are subject to change upon processing the shipment.

Orders That Require a Specific Delivery Date Guarantee

For those shipments that do require a specific guaranteed delivery date you must select Express Mail or UPS 2-Day or UPS Next Day service. In these instances, orders received by noon on weekdays will ship that day unless a future guaranteed arrival date is required.

Delivery date guarantees do not apply when UPS or the Post Office publish alerts on their websites regarding adverse weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances that impact their ability to move packages through their systems. We cannot issue refunds based on their failure to deliver on time due to these circumstances.

Shipping Chocolates and Bake at Home products to Warm Weather Destinations

Chocolates and Bake at Home items will melt at temperatures over 70 degrees. Extra care is required when shipping these items to all states year round.

The following is required when shipping to warm weather destinations:

  • All chocolate items will be packed in insulated pouches with cold packs at our expense
  • All such items must be shipped via Express Mail with 1 Day service or UPS Next Day Guaranteed. (See chart for rates.)
  • There must be a recipient available to sign for the package and bring it into a cool environment. Packages will not be left by either carrier without a signature
  • We will not ship chocolates over a weekend during warm weather conditions. No shipments will be made on Fridays and no deliveries will be scheduled for Mondays
  • We cannot ship gift baskets that contain chocolate items to warm weather destinations

We cannot be responsible for the quality or condition of our chocolates upon arrival if the above criteria are not met.

Tracking the Progress of Domestic Packages

On the day your package(s) are shipped you will receive a SHIP ALERT with tracking information to the email address you provided. Simply follow the link to track each package's progress and expected delivery date. Please note that once the product has shipped out we do not have access to its tracking information. You will have access through the 3rd party shipment tracker and will dispute claims to the shipment facility chosen at checkout.


Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
